Drug and Alcohol Resources for Rural Transit Managers
All recipients of 5307, 5309 and 5311 Federal Transit Administration funds must comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements for safety sensitive employees as mandated in the Code of Federal Regulation Part 40 and Part 655, as amended. As these rules continue to develop it is necessary for grant recipients to keep current on changes in order to ensure compliance. In an effort to assist transit systems in keeping current, several resources and links have been provided below. If there are any additional resources or information that should be added please contact Vicky Warner at 1-812-799-3360.
**INCOST is once again soliciting proposals from qualified drug and alcohol testing firms to provide drug and alcohol testing services for approximately 42 rural transit systems in the State of Indiana. Submissions will now be received until June 27, 2025. Any submissions received after June 27 will not be considered. Please click here for the full RFP. Any questions regarding the RFP should be submitted to Vicky Warner at 812-799-3360.**
