The Indiana Paratransit Roadeo

the
state the
opportunity to compete and
show
off their skills. The Roadeo recognizes driver strengths and promotes
the
importance of day-to-day public service and professionalism.
A special thanks goes out
to

the drivers their much deserved recognition. RTAP provides the
funding

winning driver to compete in
the National Paratransit Roadeo sponsored annually by the Community
Transportation
Association of America. Again
this
year the Indiana Council on Specialized Transportation (INCOST) is also
sending the second place winner to compete in the National Paratransit

This year's winner was Shelly Pike from LINK Hendricks Co. in Danville, IN.
Second place was Beth Browning from Ride

Roadeo Results Are In & We have a winner!

Beth Browning with Ride Solution in Washington,
IN has brought pride to Indiana by bringing home the first place trophy
in the van division at the National CTAA Transportation Roadeo. Indiana
drivers have always placed well at the National Roadeo, and have even
brought home trophies in the past. However, this year Indiana was
placed in the limelight by not only taking first place, but by having
the first female driver to win the van division at the National Raodeo.
The competition was very close as Pam Wilcoxon with Columbus Transit in
Columbus, IN placed fourth with only 59 point between her and first
place. In addition, Pam brought home the most spirited driver trophy
earning her own place in the 2007 National Roadeo archives.
Congradulations to both Beth & Pam on a
job well done!
